The candidates will be provided with counseling, assessment, soft skill training, technical upskilling and placement at this MCC

The training will help the candidates in securing right career choice as per their aptitude, according to a release. It will also provide an opportunity in bridging the skills requirement by industry with the workforce available. CII Naoroji Godrej Model Career Centre in Mumbai is the first model career Centre in Maharashtra.
An online career interest test is taken by candidates mapping their interest to occupation. On the basis of the test results career guidance counseling sessions are provided which are Face-to-face / Skype interaction & One week online support.

As stated in the release, Bandaru Dattatreya, union minister for Labour & Employment was pleased to state that six more Model Career Centres would be opened in the state during the year. The minister emphasised on the fact that the Model Career Centres would go a long way in bridging the skill requirement by industry with the workforce available.

“This initiative would help in linking youth (job seekers) with job & career opportunities (job providers) through counseling & training. This would make employment easy for the youth. With industry partnerships like the one in Mumbai –CII, Naoroji Godrej Model Centre, this would not only be fruitful but also relevant to achieve the goal,” said Ashish Kesharwani, GM, CII-Model Career Centres.
