The vacancies to be
filled up are for its various departments. Candidates are needed in technical,
administrative, nursing roles and niche medical areas.
Medical consultants are
needed in departments like dental, dermatology, family medicine, general surgery,
hematology/oncology, infectious diseases, intensive care, internal medicine and
neonatology
Some roles are
exclusive to locals but expat professionals can also apply to a big number of
jobs that are open to them. The closing dates for most of the advertised jobs
is by the end of the year.
There is lack of
adequate data on the salaries given by DHA but according to www.payscale.com,
an online salary, benefits and compensation information company, the median
salary is Dh119,279 per year, given by the health provider.
Ex and current
employees have given the company 4 out of 5 stars on www.indeed.com, another
jobs portal.

Healthcare has recently
been the fastest growing sector across the region. The market in the UAE is
projected to reach $19.5bn in 2020, indicating an annual average growth of 12.7
per cent from 2015.
The outpatient and
inpatient markets are projected to reach $12.1bn and $7.5bn respectively in
2020. The country is also likely to see a nearly 3 per cent annual increase in
the number of hospital beds required, presenting a demand of more than 13,800
beds by 2020, according to data provided by Alpen Capital (ME) Limited.
