Over 93 reputed companies in the country, like Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Adnoc, Al Futtaim, DP World, Dubai Chamber Of Commerce & Industry, Dubai Civil Defence, Dubai Customs, Dubai Duty Free, Dewa, Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Land Department, Dubai Municipality, Emirates Authority for Standardization & Metrology (Esma), Enoc, Etisalat, Dubai Police, Juma Al Majid, Roads And Transport Authority, UAE Armed Forces, among others will come under one roof to meet and hire candidates.
A lot of hiring is expected to take place as the country prepares itself for Expo 2020, pushing the need for talent in the coming years.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Careers UAE is expected to attract more than 17,000 Emirati job seekers from May 16 to 18 at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
The fair is open exclusively for UAE Nationals and HR practitioners. Female job seekers can enjoy ladies only access to the fair from 10:00 to 13:00 on Tuesday, May 17.
A platform to facilitate successful engagement between public and private sector organisations with UAE national candidates at all levels of qualification, Careers UAE 2016 will welcome more than 110 exhibitors this year – with 58 per cent from the private sector and 42 per cent from the public sector.
“The UAE is considered a boiling pot of cultures and the country accommodates expatriate workers from every corner of the globe,” said Trixie LohMirmand, Senior Vice-President, Exhibitions & Events Management, DWTC.
“At a national employment level, Careers UAE provides opportunity for talented Emiratis - especially fresh graduates - to seize jobs across a plethora of organizations in different sectors.
